BESPOKE HOMES

Copperleaf are commissioned by private clients to build their own bespoke homes. These homes are the antithesis of trust between us and our clients. It often starts when our clients ask us to consider just an idea or concept, we then embark on a process that will eventually give them a unique and individually designed home.

Copperleaf clients are offered a five-year plan to ensure that their home is as good as the day its handed over. This is part of our OWL process. Copperleaf are happy to discuss any clients requirements in the strictest of confidence.

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

From starter to family homes Copperleaf have experience in delivering housing development across the residential sector. As we have experience across the whole project lifecycle we are able to bring this level of service to our clients whether we contract with joint venture or turnkey deliver.

AFFORDABLE HOMES

Copperleaf develop turnkey affordable housing in partnership with social housing providers. The “what we do” is not that unique. We prefer to concentrate on the “how and why”.

We challenge ourselves to make Affordable development work. Our processes are for the benefit of our collaborators. To achieve this we adopt a longer term relationship philosophy to our involvement with partners. This is not just about maintaining relationships but working on them proactively to invoke change.

Our typical schemes are between 10 and 50 homes and include houses, apartments and cottage style apartments. The designs take account of the environment but will typically be led by our Affordable Providers Partners demand. We engage at the earliest opportunity with our partners to ensure we adopt key considerations such as tenure and property mix, maintenance, lead times, planning and construction.

COMMERCIAL

Copperleaf have carried out various commercial projects from City Centre Office developments to industrial shed canopies and internal offices and fitout. Every time we are challenged to ensure that our Clients are serviced with a high quality finish within commercially acceptable timescales. We recognise that our commercial clients have businesses to run and deadlines to meet.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

When we were initially speaking with various interested parties to take a look at options for the sale / development of some long held family land it didn’t take too long for Copperleaf to stand out to us. They became one of four possible companies that we would be happy to sell the land to. Going into this sale my biggest overriding requirement was confidence in who we would sell it to. Meeting Mark Whylie and Tony Carter over the past few months we were struck by their frank and honest approach – alongside their sympathetic understanding that we were selling the land with a slightly heavy heart as it was a result of my father passing away. A heavy handed approach would have left us cold – so it was promising to find them enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about possible options.

Once I got to the critical stage of narrowing the options down further to my two ideal choices, in the end it was again that strong confidence in Mark and Tony that clinched our decision to go for an option agreement with them. Their clear explanations of the next stages and their refreshing commitment to understand where we wanted our involvement in any sale / development to start and end made our mind up.

We never wanted to be rushed on this decision – and Mark and Tony, although keeping in contact regularly in the process, never rushed our decision making. In the end it felt like we had made absolutely the right choice to enter in the agreement with them and we remain excited to see what development plans they will come up with – and working with them, albeit happily deferring to them as the experts, to successfully achieve a very special and successful end result for all involved.
